I have never written a product review, but I have searched for two years for tall boots that fit my muscular calves and I finally found them. I ordered these boots in black. After wearing them once, I went back and ordered them in the light tan color.
My calves have always been an issue fitting in tall boots. They are muscular and larger than average, but not so big that I need an 'extended calf' boot. These fit great and I can even wear them with skinny jeans under them. They also look cute with skirts/dresses. They are extremely comfortable and have a great sole for the snowy conditions in Colorado.
I could not be more pleased with my purchase. If you have the same struggles as I have had, these are the boots for you.
PS- My co-worker also ordered a pair and she does not have the same issues with her calves and they still look cute on her too.

I love these boots.
I've worn them with short skirts and colored tights, under boot-cut pants, and easily over skinny jeans.
The first day I wore them, I pulled them on in the morning, had an active day, and was comfortable in them the entire time. You cannot beat that!
I am on the slim side of average, so if you have super-skinny legs, you might not be happy with them with a skirt, because there's plenty of room at the top, but I think they'd still be good pulled over your skinny jeans. I'd read a review that said the wearer could easily scrunch them down, but maybe she had heavier calves than I do, because they just pop back up for me (and I don't care enough to keep trying it).
The cute little leather bow in front, which is designed to slightly (SLIGHTLY) tighten the boot around the calf, will loosen. You'll probably re-tie them occasionlly when you first put the boots on. I wouldn't recommend pulling hard on those little leather ties to tighten the boot a lot. If one broke, you'd be very unhappy.
I've gotten lots of compliments on them. Order with confidence.
